Nov. 16, 2012 - Hamas is currently in a state of war with Israel. Because of hundreds of  rockets launched at them by the jihadists in Gaza, Israel is poised to invade soon in a defensive action. Israel today called up 75,000 military reservists to be on stand-by ahead of announced plans to intensify its raids on jihadist militants in Gaza. The following video shows some weapons that the IDF has intercepted:

In recent days, Hamas terrorists have  fired hundreds of rockets into civilian population centers from Gaza, which is controlled by Hamas.

Israel warns the Palestinian population of attacks in advance. Hamas, in contrast,  wants to kill as many Israeli civilians as it can.

About 500 rockets from Gaza have been fired into Israel since "Operation Pillar of Defense" began on Wednesday of this week, Bloomberg reports.  That operation includes the use of Israel's "Iron Dome," a high-tech anti-missile defense system.

"The decision to build the Iron Dome system was made by the Ministry of Defense in 2007," according to the Jewish Virtual Library, "following a year in which Hezbollah fired thousands of missiles into northern Israel during the Second Lebanon War."

"One of the main ways that Hamas acquires weapons," explains the Israel Defense Forces blog," is via an extensive network of tunnels under the Gaza-Egypt border. Since Hamas seized power in the Gaza Strip in 2007, the terrorist group’s smuggling efforts have increased. With funding from Iran, Hamas has improved its stockpile of weapons."
