Join us at the She's the First UW screening of Half the Sky, a documentary detailing the abuses of women across the globe. In addition to watching a segment of the documentary, the event will also feature a panel for discussion and questions, including:

-Sweta Shrestha: Department of Population Health Sciences
-Mollie Overby: Programs Associate, Global Health Institute
-Aili Tripp: Departments of Political Science & Gender/Women's Studies
-Kim Johnson: UW-Madison Peace Corps Representative
-Paloma Trygar: Founder of local organization ChickTime (mentoring program for girls in Madison)
-Eileen Zeiger: SlaveFree Madison (anti sex trafficking) member and Family Literacy Coordinator at the Dane County Literacy Network
